When and where does NRW hold their meetings?
The Norfolk Republican Women meet the fourth Thursday January through May at the Cagney’s Restaurant at 1108 E. Little Creek Road, Norfolk, VA 23518, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. We recess for the summer and resume meetings in September through October. NRW meets the third Thursday in November to avoid the Thanksgiving holiday. There is a buffet lunch, and the cost is $20.00.
In lieu of a business meeting in December, there's a Christmas Party during which the incoming officers are installed by an elected official. A member is also presented with the annual Thelma Drake Award for contributing the most to achieving Republican support activities.
Our goal is to obtain topical guest speakers that interest a broad range of people in Tidewater about both political and business oriented issues.
